Bone-in turkey breast is a great option for a quick and easy weeknight meal. Just season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then roast in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. My one simple tip for elevating this ingredient is to brine the turkey breast before cooking. Brining will help to keep the meat moist and juicy. Simply dissolve 1/2 cup of salt in 1/2 gallon of cold water, then add the turkey breast and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Flavor Profile
This Bone-in Turkey Breast is the perfect centerpiece for your special feast. It's sourced from sustainable producers and raised in the best possible manner, so you can be sure that the meat is of the highest quality. The flavor profile is rich and smoky, with a mouthfeel that is both juicy and tender.
Chef's Serving Suggestions
Bone-in turkey breast is a relatively mild cut of meat, so it goes well with a variety of side dishes, herbs, and sauces. Some of my favorites are mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce. I also like to use rosemary or sage as herbs for this cut, and I usually serve it with a simple pan sauce made with butter, white wine, and garlic.

A Free-Range Lifestyle

From the moment their baby chicks are born, they are cared for in a sheltered, heated brooder barn to maximize healthy growth during the early stages of life. The chicks are given food and water by hand, and no antibiotics are used throughout the turkey's entire life. When the turkeys get old enough, they are transitioned to the outdoors full-time during the summer months, so the birds can forage in nature like true free-range animals. At Ferndale, they take pride in raising free-range turkeys the way nature and their namesake intended, and at Crowd Cow, we couldn't be happier to have them as part of our family.

Raised the Way Nature Intended

Ferndale turkeys grow naturally, without the use of artificial growth hormones. During the temperate months, they are rotated on fresh pasture so they have access to clean air and fresh grass. Each Ferndale Market turkey has been raised antibiotic-free and with room to roam on our family farms in Minnesota - so you can feel good knowing you’re feeding your family the very best. Naturally processed with no additives, our frozen whole turkeys are the perfect tradition for your holiday meal and all year-round!
