Cooking Instructions
Cooking methods
Grill, Pan-Fry, Broil
Wine pairings
Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah
For the easiest way to cook a New York Strip Steak, heat a skillet on medium-high heat and cook for 2 minutes per side before transfering to a pre-heated oven at 350 F for another 7 to 10 minutes. One simple way to elevate your New York Strip Steak is to add a compound butter. Simply mix together softened butter, garlic, thyme, and salt and pepper to taste. Then, roll the butter into a log and refrigerate until solid. Before serving, slice off 1-2 tablespoons of the compound butter and top your steak with it.
Flavor Profile
The New York Strip is a juicy, tender and flavorful steakhouse classic cut. The steak has a wonderful mouthfeel, and the flavor profile is intense and delicious. This is a perfect steak for a special occasion.
Chef's Serving Suggestions
Some great side dishes that pair well with a New York Strip steak include mashed potatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, and a simple green salad. For sauces, a classic barnaise or hollandaise sauce would be perfect, or you could try a chimichurri sauce for a bit of a Latin flair. Herbs that pair well with steak include thyme, rosemary, and parsley.

About the Farm
Four Butchers

Australia has an abundance of lush, native pasturelands that creates the ideal environment for raising cattle. With ample room to graze and time to mature slowly on open range, herds stay healthy, strong and stress-free naturally. Farmers take great care to ensure the land and soil flourish for the future of their ranches and their livestock — which ultimately translates to the health and taste of the product. Rich, full-bodied and naturally lean, grass-fed beef is also high in B vitamins, zinc, iron and protein, and has more omega-3 fatty acids than its grain-finished counterpart. With the perfect harmony of both flavor and nutrition, Australian grass-fed beef is consistently what steak aficionados turn to time and time again.
