And so good, you’d never know they weren’t gluten-free. Waffles are made in a GFCO certified facility without preservatives, sugar or fruit juice concentrates. Instead, they’re lightly sweetened with organic fruit, with each non-GMO ingredient thoughtfully sourced and scrutinized to produce a product that is both tasty and nutritious. From the Farmers Market to Your Freezer
Stacie Skinner is a whole foods advocate who started Lopaus Point around her family’s needs. She was disappointed with the convenience items on the market — which lacked flavor, texture and real nourishment — and wanted something that checked all the boxes. So, she made her own. She soon realized that her product was something so many families were looking for, and in 2015, began selling her waffles at a Farmers Market in Columbus, Ohio. Named after the coastal city Stacie grew up in, Lopaus Point has organically grown into what it is today — made with the same delicious recipe that started it all from wholesome ingredients you’d find in your own kitchen.
Lopaus Point’s first kitchen was a shared space that worked to provide opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities, who became an integral part of their entire operation. Today, Lopaus Point continues hiring a diverse workforce, celebrating differences and providing training and jobs to people in the community that are often overlooked.
