From Eighth Grade Friends to Dessert Makers
Sweetaly Dolceria officially launched in 2016 in Oceanside, CA — but the story begins nearly 30 years ago on the streets of Rome. That’s where the four friends and now owners of Sweetaly Dolceria met in grade school, and where they grew up eating freshly made Italian desserts like Tiramisu and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake. After years apart, the quartet reunited to do something together centered around what they all loved: food! They studied pastry techniques, mastered the perfect recipes, and created their first sample dessert for a dinner party (made in a small jar, just as they are today).

Using all natural ingredients sourced sustainably from local farms, Sweetaly Dolceria now makes these authentic, single-serve desserts on a bigger scale, but with the same small-batch feel. True to Italian-style desserts, their recipes are a little less sweet and use organic cane sugar, plus are always free of artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. The result? Extra creaminess, more richness and highlighted notes of the real ingredients that set their sweets apart. To enjoy at home, simple defrost in the fridge for a perfectly portioned treat full of fresh flavor.
