Lisa is a lifestyle blogger passionate about helping others find joy in homemaking and creating a beautiful home. Food is of course a big part of that and something she is passionate about.

Why is it important for you to know where your food comes from?

I grew up with pet cows and in a rural area where cattle are raised. I know how livestock should be raised and it's not in inhumane conditions. If I'm going to eat meat I want to know it was raised in the best conditions possible and in a way that is better for me and the environment.

Who inspires you?

My husband and my whole family. They each inspire me in different ways to be better. And also my best friend Stacey. She has thyroid cancer and many other health issues but is still so positive through it all.

What is your most memorable meal?

An anniversary dinner at Vast in Oklahoma City. The bone marrow appetizer was incredible and every course was thoughtfully prepared.

What is your greatest accomplishment?

Being able to reach so many people with my blogs is probably my biggest accomplishment. It's not the career path I expected to be on but I have worked hard and created something I'm very proud of.

What is on your bucket list?

A lot of travel. Italy is on the top of my travel bucket list.

How do you stay motivated?

I stay focused on my goals. Knowing I have something I want to reach makes me want to work hard to get there.

What's your morning routine?

I'm not a mornings person so I take mornings very slowly. I get up and let my dog out, she is almost 14 years old and not into mornings either. After that I sip some tea and check email before getting ready for the day.

What's the one thing in your kitchen you couldn't live without?

My KitchenAid Stand Mixer. I love to bake and have been baking since I was 2 years old.

What's your favorite Crowd Cow Product?

Ground wagyu. It's delicious and so easy to use in a lot of different ways.

Where can we find you?

You can find me at any of my three blogs, Retro Housewife Goes Green (https://retrohousewifegoesgreen.com), The Stress-Free Christmas (https://thestressfreechristmas.com), and Green Oklahoma (https://greenokla.com).
