The meat was really good, the best I’ve had, but a significant portion of it was a big chunk of fat in the middle. Throwing away 1/3 of a $60 steak feels awful.

Ribeyes were way thinner than expected. One steak had a big chunk of fat in the middle. Not sure why you would even sell it as a cut. Striploin did not look fresh since 80% of it was a dark purplish color and the other part was pinkish...not the anywhere near red with fat marbling I expect from true A5 especially since I just ate a bunch of it less than 3 months ago during my trip to Japan.

Striploin was ok, but there was a large strip of just fat, not meat. For a petite striploin- this was disappointing because about 1/4 of it was just fat.
