Norwegian Atlantic Salmon Family Pack
Savor the rich, buttery flavor of Atlantic Salmon, farmed above the Arctic Circle in the icy waters of Northern Norway. The cold water and strong currents keep the salmon active and slow-growing, developing denser, firmer muscle and excellent marbling for a fillet that's rich, buttery, and full of flavor. Raised with no growth hormones and certified antibiotic-free, it's as clean as it is flavorful.
This salmon comes from Nordlaks, a family-owned aquaculture company that's controlled every step of the process — from broodstock to harvest — for over 35 years. Now available skin-off for the first time, these fillets are ready to cook straight out of the pack, no trimming required. This family pack includes four skin-on fillets, perfect for feeding the whole table with quick, versatile prep: grill, roast, or pan-sear in minutes.

Nordlaks
From a Rowboat in Vesterålen to the Arctic's Largest Ocean Farm
In 1989, Inge Berg started Nordlaks with a single, modest fish farm in Vesterålen, Northern Norway. The equipment was partly homemade — feed was rowed out to the pens by hand. Today, Nordlaks is still family-owned, with the next generation, Therese Berg, now helping lead the company's vision as one of Norway's largest salmon producers.
What sets Nordlaks apart is how much of the process it controls directly. Rather than outsourcing pieces of it, they own the full process, from broodstock, hatcheries, smolt facilities, sea sites, well boats, slaughterhouse and filleting plant. That control is also where its innovation shows up: Havfarmen, the offshore Ocean Farm launched in 2020, holds up to 10,000 tonnes of salmon in more exposed water roughly five kilometers from shore. In 2025, Nordlaks followed it with the Ocean Tank "Storbåtsegga" and Hydra, a new semi-closed containment system designed to keep salmon safe and healthy — the same year it became the first salmon producer in Norway to earn third-party certification as antibiotic-free.

Cold Water, Better Salmon
Every Nordlaks farming site sits north of the Arctic Circle, where water stays consistently cold year-round. That cold water is a big part of why the salmon tastes the way it does: slower growth builds denser, firmer muscle, and higher levels of omega-3 fats add richness and moisture. Strong Arctic currents keep the fish active, too, which only reinforces that texture.
Nordlaks also controls what its salmon eat. The feed is GMO-free and deforestation-free, formulated to mirror the nutrients wild salmon would get from natural prey, plus health-specific feeds developed for heart and skin health.
Every portion is traceable back to its origin: each package carries its own code, tracing the fish through every stage of Nordlaks' single, connected supply chain.
