How to Cook Beef Liver



  • Beef Liver
  • Milk
  • Arrowroot powder
  • Bacon fat or oil
  • Sliced Onions
  • Mushrooms
  • Crumbled bacon

  1. Soak liver in milk.
  2. Remove from milk and coat each piece in arrowroot powder.
  3. Heat bacon fat in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Place the liver in the pan once the bacon fat is heated.
  5. Flip each piece until golden brown all over and internal temp reaches 145 degrees F.
  6. In a separate pan, cook the sliced onion for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Add the mushrooms and continue cooking for 2 more minutes.
  8. Add the bacon crumbles and place the liver back into the pan.
  9. Plate and serve!
