I have had this steak a few times and is usually spectacular. However, was a little disappointed with this one. Packaging and meat looked normal so not sure what happened but the taste and texture was off.

The steak was good but was expecting the steak experience of "melt in your mouth." This steak was at the bottom of the A5 marbling scale and wasn't as expected especially from the marbling of the pictures

I wonder why this Steak is so highly sought after.. it tasted just about fine and honestly had a weird smell to it because of the excessive fat content and the flavor profile was nothing too special. It was definitely tender, surely more tender than USDA prime. Most likely not going to order again.
