The first steak I received had MUCH better marbling, this one was okay, but the first (from the same farm) looked and tasted much better.

Not as good of a flavor as the strip which surprised me. I prepared it the same way, seared in 1" strips. Again at this price you don't expect there to be so much edge fat.

The Miyazaki Gyu A5 Ribeye was good, but not even close to great for the price. Honestly, I’ve had better for half the price from local butchers in San Diego. In fact, the Wagyu steaks available at Costco are on par with these. I've had steaks all over Japan, and these have a similar taste, but the quality is nothing close to what you get on the islands of Japan.
