Without question, the single best steak I've ever made. Salted 24 hours before cooking, a little ground garlic & pepper right before cooking. In the oven at 250 until an internal temp of 125. Seared in cast iron 90 seconds each side. Absolutely incredible!

I was disappointed. This was excellent steak, to be sure, but this was not the Wagyu I was expecting. I paid Wagyu prices and had the family hyped up for the experience, which we had done before. I felt like I let everyone down because this was definitely not the same.

I've ordered Wagyu steaks before that were fantastic and melted in your mouth. These were much more like your average ribeye steak. They weren't bad. I pan-seared them rare in olive and avocado oil. I was kind of surprised how tough they were to cut into as well. Seemed to have the firmness of a NY Strip instead of the tenderness of a ribeye. CrowdCow was awesome though handling some of my customer service issues so that was a positive.
