Gleaners of Clackamas County is a fully volunteer-run nonprofit food sharing organization dedicated to reducing food waste and minimizing hunger in Oregon communities. They collect and redistribute food and other essential items to low income, elderly and disabled residents in Clackamas County, Oregon. We’re proud to have partnered with Gleaners in 2018 to deliver goods to over 3,000 residents weekly, both on a membership basis and in emergency circumstances.

In addition, we’ve joined with Feeding Families Ministry to provide food for those in need in Pennsylvania’s Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties. Since 2011, Feeding Families Ministry has served community members who are recently unemployed, underemployed, those who don’t qualify for welfare or are experiencing a life emergency.

Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania is devoted to assuring the most comfortable and stimulating environment for the wolves and wolf dogs that live there. By working with charities like Wolf Sanctuary of Pennsylvania, we’re able to transform the burden of food waste into opportunity. The Sanctuary provides food, shelter and veterinary care for 40 wolves without government or corporate funding.

Similarly, Lakota Wolf Preserve is a sanctuary based out of Columbia, New Jersey that provides shelter to wolves, foxes and bobcats. Founders Jim Stein and Becky Mace raise and care for all the animals at the preserve, creating a comfortable and happy home for animals eating 5-15 pounds of meat a day.
