I have been ordering the top sirloin steaks from crowdcow for the last 3yrs. The product has always been very consistent. This last order the steaks went from 1.5" thick to 0.5" thick. This changes everything and makes these almost unusable for my purpose which is cooking from frozen. I won't be buying again.

Hands down, the worst steak I've ever tasted. Gamey, bitter, stinky. My wife almost vomited on the first bite and threw it away. I made it through four bites and disposed of mine as well. We've had $5 steaks from the grocery store that tasted like Wagyu compared to this absolutely disgusting garbage steak that was like eating rotting flesh. Left us both with upset stomachs till the following day. AVOID!

Very thin and poorly trimmed. I also blame Crowd Cow that says that “ Each cut will vary by size ( for our NY Strip steak we have 3/4" minimum thickness), shape, color, and even vary by taste and texture. The image on our website is only for the representation of the piece.”. None of this is explained on the website.

I’m very disappointed at how thin this is. I have never received a filet that wasn’t perfectly thick and amazing. For this price I’m really disappointed.

It was very concerning that we found bone shards in the ground beef. My husband almost broke his tooth on a piece and then he found a SECOND bone shard. That can cause intestinal injury such as a perforation, they should really think about their safety protocols. We got 4 packages, two were fine and the third has bobe shards but it is very concerning.
