I ordered 4 of these steaks. Two of them were no different than any ordinary prime grade filet you'd buy at the grocery store. Hoping there was just some mix up.

The tenderloin was dark in color and not at all a good looking A5 cut of meat. The packaging was not leaking but it did have air in it leading to the oxidation of the cut of meat...

This did not look like Wagyu A5 steaks. The marbling was weak and they arrived at my home warm in a damp box. They didn’t taste like Wagyu either. I won’t be ordering from Crowd Cow again.

I’m not sure what this last order was. Maybe it was packaged wrong? Maybe a bitter old cow with something to prove? We’ve had amazing experiences so far with you all. But the first two from this batch tasted like they were angry. We still have one left in the freezer. At least I think we do? He may have escaped in the dark of the night…he may have eaten all of our crowd cow duck? If you don’t hear from us call someone and put an apb out on a junky cow posing as Japanese a5. Anyway, what we’re trying to say is…we’d like a refund. My stomach has tied knots with itself since my Last Supper.
