Originally, Farmer Focus had perfect chicken, every order. Now I would say that half the breasts are good, have are tough or more chewy. I do understand that could be cooking methods, however we eat chicken 5 nights a week, I think we know how to cook it by now. I know there is an industry wide issue with "woody texture" chicken and every once in a while we do get that from Farmer Focus as well (which is surprising because it is supposed to be a hormone issue).

The chicken was very good but I did not like the way it was packaged. 3 breasts stuck together. There are only two of us in the house and I had to thaw out all three breasts. I would have liked it if they were wrapped individually.

This arrived only to discover that this is regular cut bacon & not thick cut bacon. The packaging doesn’t even say “thick cut” on it.

It was very concerning that we found bone shards in the ground beef. My husband almost broke his tooth on a piece and then he found a SECOND bone shard. That can cause intestinal injury such as a perforation, they should really think about their safety protocols. We got 4 packages, two were fine and the third has bobe shards but it is very concerning.

I hate to say this, but this chicken was really subpar… Usually the chicken I get from crowd cow is a good quality, but I have cooked several batches of this chicken and it always seems to just come out tough unlike any other batches I’ve gotten
