Smoked Ora King Salmon

Smoked Ora King Salmon


  • 1 whole Ora King Salmon Full Side Fillet
  • 2 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tbsp coarse ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or several slices of butter

Cook time
2 hours and 40 minutes


  1. Preheat the Traeger smoker to 225°F.
  2. Mix together all of the spices and herbs.
  3. Rub the salmon with the spice mixture and lay the butter slices all over the meat.
  4. Place the salmon in the Traeger on "super smoke" and smoke for 2 hours.
  5. Raise the temperature to 400°F and cook for another 40 minutes.
  6. Remove from the Traeger, serve immediately and enjoy!
