How to Cook Black Cod

Our miso-marinated black cod arrives ready to cook. The marinade does the heavy lifting; the oven does the rest.

Directions

  1. Thaw: Place the sealed package in the refrigerator the night before you plan to cook.
  2. Bake: Place skin-side down, sauce on top, in a cast iron pan or on a baking sheet. Bake at 450°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  3. Broil: Finish under a high broiler for about 2 minutes, until the top is golden brown and caramelized.
