Direct heat and a meat thermometer are all you need for a properly grilled chicken breast.

Directions

  1. Oil the chicken and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat the grill to 400°F.
  3. Place the chicken at the center of the grill over direct heat.
  4. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, rotating halfway, then flip.
  5. Cook another 5 to 7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
