How to Cook Skirt Steak

  • Salt and pepper

  1. Remove the thawed skirt steak from packaging and place on a cutting board.
  2. Pat skirt steak dry.
  3. Drizzle with oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cut steak into equal sections to fit into your pan.
  5. Heat oil in a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Place steaks into the pan and sear, flipping every 3-5 minutes for approx. 15 minutes.
  7. Occasionally baste with juices.
  8. Remove from the heat and cover with foil. Let rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Slice thin and enjoy!
