Thaw Chicken in 15 Minutes
When overnight thawing in the refrigerator isn't feasible, don't worry — you can still eat your chicken tonight! Your sink will speed things along.
- Place your sealed packages of chicken in a bowl.
- Run cool water from the faucet over the chicken for 15 minutes. Water must be cold to ensure no bacteria growth.
- Feel your chicken and ensure it's completely thawed. If areas are still frozen, continue running cold water until thawed.
- Remove from the package and cook!
