The chicken itself is very good. The labels on the package are complete nonsense, though. Every sticker says it’s “1.00 pounds”, which is obviously impossible. They just throw two breasts into a package and slap on a 1 pound sticker. I’ve been weighing the packages I’ve received. The average weight is a little under 1 pound. If the price goes any higher, I wouldn’t continue to order. But I do enjoy the quality of the chicken.

Not much marbling and a lot of grisle and kind of bummed about it. This is the second time. Flavor is good and yes we cut against the grain.

The chicken was delicious, but I would rate it higher if it were not such an odd shape, which of course is not controllable most likely, but made it difficult to carve and serve to look presentable for guests. It was difficult to carve slices from the breast portion which made it necessary to pull apart by hand. But that is the nature of the beast I suppose

We keep getting a few pieces of chicken that is not edible- it taste like rubber no matter how you prepare it. The breast are too big which means the chickens are probably being fed too much for mass production. Bring back pasture raised chicken breast, please!!!!
