Crumbled wagyu beef forms ground "graves" in this layered Halloween party dip topped with puff-pastry tombstones.

This Graveyard 8-Layer Dip keeps everyone digging in for more. The crumbled dry-aged wagyu adds rich flavor and makes for a chilling cemetery scene.

Method

Directions

  1. 1
Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2
Set aside some ground beef to make graves on top of dip.
  3. 3
In a glass dish, begin layering in the following order: ground beef, black beans, refried beans, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, shredded cheese, cilantro.
  4. 4
Cut small rectangular pieces of puff pastry and shape them into tombstones. Use slices of black olives to write RIP on puff pastry or whatever you can think of. Bake in oven at 425°F until they puff and just start to brown, usually 10 minutes.
  5. 5
Stick tombstones in dip near your ground beef graves.
