Small tri-tip but it got even smaller when I just defrosted it and opened the package. It was sliced in half making it two "tri-tip steaks" instead of a roast. Should be interesting on the smoker with two thin ones...

Steak was flavorful but tough. I reverse sear my steaks slow roast to 128 degrees then sear in a cast iron skillet.
