Mayo-Crusted Round Steak
A mayonnaise crust brings out juicy flavors on a tender round steak. Enjoy with a sprinkle of your favorite finishing salt!
Servings : 2 Prep Time : 10 minutes Total Time : 40 minutes
- 2 Top Round Steaks
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
- 2 tsp fresh thyme, minced (leaves and stem)
- 2 tsp fresh rosemary, minced (leaves and stem)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Himalayan pink salt
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, thyme, rosemary, garlic, salt, and pepper. Generously spread mixture over each steak and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
Heat grill to 400 F. Grill each side of the steak 4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 130 F. Top Round is best enjoyed medium-rare. Remove from heat and allow to rest 5-10 minutes. Slice against the grain and enjoy with a sprinkle of salt.
