INGREDIENTS

  • 3lbs leaf fat

PREPARATION

Roughly chop the leaf fat to to break it up into smaller pieces. Place the leaf fat into sauce pot and heat over low heat. Allow the fat to render for 4 hours, stirring every hour. Throughout the rendering process, skim the top surface to remove impurities.

Once cooked down, place the fat into jars and chill in the refrigerator.
