Del Pacifico

Del Pacifico is the first shrimp company in the world to receive fair trade certification for their wild blue shrimp. Every catch is tracked and recorded, making their wild-caught blue shrimp 100% traceable. Each package of shrimp is equipped with a scannable QR code so customers have transparency to when and where their shrimp was caught. 5% of the wholesale price goes back to the community to invest in their greatest needs, after meeting all requirements relating to labor, trade and responsible environmental practices.

Capra Lamb

Born out of the historic ranching community of Goldthwaite, Texas, Capra Lamb is the only Animal Welfare certified lamb program in the country. Their lambs are never given antibiotics or hormones, are fed a vegetarian diet, and are humanly raised. Capra Lamb has also implemented practices of regenerative agriculture throughout their entire network of ranches. These practices are proven to increase biodiversity, enrich soils, improve watersheds, and enhance ecosystem services. This is good for the ranchers, the land, the animals and the food system we all depend on.

Why should we care about where our food comes from?

Crowd Cow sources our selection of meat and seafood with the same commitment to sustainability shared by its producers.

Our farms and fisheries use a mix of cutting-edge and back-to-the-basics techniques to minimize environmental impact and maximize flavor. This includes agroforestry practices like creating a silvopasture, no-till farming, incorporating cover crops and using other production techniques to minimize disruption to the surrounding ecosystem.

We’re proud to share the names of our farmers not just because they deliver amazing quality and flavor, but because their sustainable and regenerative farming practices are the future of this industry. Crowd Cow farms raise meat that’s better for you, better for the earth, better for the animals and better for the hardworking farmers, fishermen and producers behind it all.

It feels good to know where your food comes from — because it feels good to be part of something important.
