I’ve had this on subscription for a while, and often get from different farms. My last shipment was not good... something was just off with the taste, almost sour. It took me a while to finish them... and I almost cancelled. I got the new shipment from a different farm. This meat tastes fine... not the sourness from before. However, it does not taste as rich and flavorful as my previous shipments that made me fall in love with the Wagyu. I certainly prefer this batch over the last... but it seems like just a good quality meat... not a special Wagyu.

Taste like ground beef. Nothing different or special. The problem I’m having is these burgers are supposed to weigh 8oz each. Neither of the patties weighed 8oz.

Does not taste of anything, there is a faint taste of the old beef flavor, but not much. This is why I will stop buying beef altogether - it's an expensive mistake, ha.

Added 3 extra denver steaks to the Mishima starter kit because my parents were coming in to town. One cut has so much outer fat around the cut it takes up about 50% of the total steak, another looks like a wrinkle wad of meat. A few look ok/decent, but compared to the pics advertised, these cuts leave a bit to be desired.

The meat is always excellent but unfortunately the packaging is flimsy. When thawed on the counter or fridge the packaging leaks all of the fluids out and the meat turns gray-ish, when thawed in water it allows water in and again the meat turns gray and useable. Pretty consistent packaging issue every time we get this product.
