I cook and eat ribeye steaks at least twice a month. This steak has a funkiness/sourness that makes it taste spoiled. Not sure if this is supposed to taste this way, but my family that usually find my steaks delightful could not even eat a second bite!

holy cow.. this is some poor cuts sent to me. Some appears significantly oxidized. No intramuscular fat but not trimmed so large portion of "order" is just fat, but not the good kind.

For the third time now, some of these steaks had broken seals on the packaging and when you thaw them blood goes everywhere. Not to mention they are very discolored and extremely dry. Three out of four were like that Christmas Eve and I was NOT happy. This may be my last shipment as it seems to happen on a regular basis. When Mishima Reserve shipped directly we never had that issue.

The meat is always excellent but unfortunately the packaging is flimsy. When thawed on the counter or fridge the packaging leaks all of the fluids out and the meat turns gray-ish, when thawed in water it allows water in and again the meat turns gray and useable. Pretty consistent packaging issue every time we get this product.
