Originally, Farmer Focus had perfect chicken, every order. Now I would say that half the breasts are good, have are tough or more chewy. I do understand that could be cooking methods, however we eat chicken 5 nights a week, I think we know how to cook it by now. I know there is an industry wide issue with "woody texture" chicken and every once in a while we do get that from Farmer Focus as well (which is surprising because it is supposed to be a hormone issue).

I’ve had this on subscription for a while, and often get from different farms. My last shipment was not good... something was just off with the taste, almost sour. It took me a while to finish them... and I almost cancelled. I got the new shipment from a different farm. This meat tastes fine... not the sourness from before. However, it does not taste as rich and flavorful as my previous shipments that made me fall in love with the Wagyu. I certainly prefer this batch over the last... but it seems like just a good quality meat... not a special Wagyu.

Pretty disappointed with this farm. 2 months after an order of the best of beef package and we still haven't gone through all the meat since grocery store steaks from Whole Foods are just better. Granted, I have high standards for beef. However, I wouldn't serve this to guests. Steaks are flavorless.

I ordered three of these, and one of them had two noticeable through-cut knife marks that created big holes in the meat. This affected both the presentation and how evenly it cooked. I hope the crowd cow can improve its trimming and quality control going forward.
