This bacon, (the package I received), was mostly fat, about 85% - 90%. Very little meat within. Cooking is difficult due to mostly being all fat. Not what I would expect to be sold by CC. The thick cut bacon from Heritage is so much better and has a better meat to fat ratio. As for Penderson's bacon taste? Tastes what cooked fat would taste like, without any meat. Maybe this bacon would best be used chopped up and used to make baked beans?

I was disappointed with this chicken. The color of the chicken was very pale and almost translucent as opposed to having that yellowish tone. The skin itself was thin. I was cooking using a cats iron pan in the oven, and when I flipped the bird over to ensure that the bottom was cooked through, the skin on the bottom tore off and stuck to to the pan. The meat was so lean it was chewy.
