Popcorn Shrimp
Popcorn shrimp is a great appetizer that is sure to be a hit with your family and friends. This recipe makes for tender bites of shrimp coated in seasonings and friend to crispy golden perfection!
Ingredients
- 1lb Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- 2 tsp fresh parsley - chopped

Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, paprika, pepper and garlic powder in a medium-sized bowl.
- Pat shrimp dry and place in a large bowl. Add 1/4 cup of the flour mixture and toss until all shrimp is coated.
- Heat about 3 inches of oil in a large deep pot at 375°F.
- In a small bowl, whisk egg and milk.
- Dip each piece of shrimp into the mixture then drench in remaining seasoned flour.
- Place 8-10 pieces of shrimp in the oil at a time. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove shrimp from oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat process with the remaining shrimp.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley, serve and enjoy!
