Standard delivery arrives one to two business days after your payment, to most ZIP codes in the lower 48 states. At checkout you'll see your estimated delivery date, where you can also pick a different day or upgrade to next-day priority.

Need it fast? Priority shipping gets your box there the next day — order by 10am local time, Monday through Thursday, on orders under 20 lbs (weekends and holidays excluded).

Standard shipping is free on orders over $199 — or over $149 for subscribers. Below that, it's a flat $19.99.

Priority (next-day) shipping is an extra $29.99 on top of standard. Every box ships with plenty of dry ice to keep your order frozen the whole way.

Once your box ships we email you a tracking link, and you can always find it under My Orders → Track Shipment. Your estimated delivery date also shows at checkout and on My Orders. Don't see tracking yet? It appears once the carrier scans the label — usually the day before delivery.

Carriers sometimes stop scanning a package even while it's still moving, so a quiet tracking page doesn't always mean it's lost. Our insulated boxes are packed with enough dry ice to keep food frozen through up to a full day of delay.

If your box is late, open it right away — if the meat is still partially frozen or very cold to the touch (around 40°F or below), it's safe to cook or refreeze per USDA guidance. If your delivery date has passed by more than a day, or tracking has been stuck for 2+ days, chat with us with your order number and we'll chase it down with the carrier.

Don't worry if the dry ice is gone. As long as the meat is still partially frozen or very cold to the touch — around 40°F / fridge-cold or below — it's perfectly safe to cook or refreeze, per USDA guidance. A box that arrives cold but without dry ice is actually ideal: it means we packed exactly enough to get your order there safely.

If the meat is mostly thawed or no longer cold to the touch, chat with us and we'll help.

If the meat is still frozen or very cold to the touch, it's safe even if the outer box or a vacuum-seal looks rough from transit. But if a vacuum-seal is fully open and the product is warm, or you're unsure, don't risk it — chat with us with a photo and we'll replace it or credit you.

The shipping box is 100% recyclable — break it down and put it out with your curbside cardboard.

The insulation is a plant-based compostable foam (not Styrofoam), so you have three easy ways to retire it: compost it — it biodegrades in under 60 days in moist soil; dissolve it — run warm water over the pieces in the sink and they melt safely down the drain; or burn it — it's clean-burning and makes a handy grill or fireplace fire starter. It's a closed-cell foam made from U.S.-grown, non-GMO cornstarch — ASTM D6400 and BPI certified, which means it's backyard compostable, biodegradable, and water-soluble. Unlike Styrofoam, it leaves nothing behind.

And it keeps your order just as cold: we stress-tested it in 100°+ desert heat and it kept meat frozen even at 130°+ surface temperatures.
