How to Pan-Sear Salmon

Pan-seared salmon is golden and crispy on top and perfectly cooked in the center. This is a super easy cooking method for salmon. We love it paired with rice, seared onions and bok choy!

How to Cook Salmon


  • Salmon Filets of choice
  • Olive oil, salt and pepper to taste

Cook time
10 minutes


  1. Season with salt & pepper & coat in olive oil.
  2. Heat up olive oil in a stainless steel pan to medium-high - until oil is shimmering.
  3. Place salmon skin side down, cook about 4-6 minutes.
  4. Once the fillet edges start to get cooked flip it over.
  5. Cook for about 2-4 more minutes.
  6. Remove and serve!
