How to Bake Lobster Tails

Prep the tails

Preheat oven to 450°F.

Using kitchen shears, cut through the top middle of the shell down to the tail. Pull the shell open, then lift the meat up and lay it on top of the shell.

Season

Melt butter with minced garlic, salt, and pepper, and brush onto the meat.

Bake

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until they reach an internal temperature of 135°F.

Serve

Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
