Steps
- Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
- Lightly oil and season both sides of your thawed steak with salt and pepper.
- Cook on one side for 4 minutes.
- Flip and cook an additional 4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F.
- Remove from heat and let the steak rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
