Steps

  1. Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
  2. Lightly oil and season both sides of your thawed steak with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook on one side for 4 minutes.
  4. Flip and cook an additional 4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F.
  5. Remove from heat and let the steak rest, covered, for 5 minutes.
  6. Slice and enjoy.
