How to Cook Chicken Thighs

Crisp-skinned chicken thighs done with a quick sear and a hot oven finish.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Lightly oil both sides of your thawed chicken thighs and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in an oven-safe pan over high heat.
  4. Place chicken thighs skin side down in the hot pan.
  5. Cook for 2 minutes on each side without disturbing.
  6. Flip each thigh, then remove from the stovetop.
  7. Place chicken thighs, in the pan, into the preheated oven.
  8. Bake for 35 minutes or until internal temperature reads 165°F — juices should run clear.
  9. Remove from the oven and let rest, covered with foil, for 5 minutes.
