Oven-baked chicken wings with crispy skin all over — no fryer required.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Thaw chicken wings.
  3. Drizzle wings with oil, and toss with salt, pepper, and your favorite spices.
  4. Place a metal cooling rack on a baking sheet — airflow beneath the wings allows for even cooking and crispy skin all over.
  5. Lightly oil the cooling rack with an oiled paper towel or brush so wings don't stick.
  6. Transfer wings in a single layer onto the pan.
  7. Cook for 20 minutes in the preheated oven at 400°F.
  8. Flip wings and cook an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
