How to Cook Chicken Breast

A simple pan-to-oven method gives you a juicy, perfectly cooked chicken breast every time.

Method

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Drizzle the thawed chicken breasts lightly with oil and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in an oven-safe pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 2 minutes. Flip and cook another 2 minutes.

Transfer the entire pan to the preheated oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Remove from the oven and let rest, covered loosely with foil, for 5 minutes. Slice and serve.
