Preheat and season
Preheat the grill to 400°F. Oil the chicken and season with salt and pepper.
Grill direct
Place the chicken at the center of the grill over direct heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, rotating halfway through.
Finish to temp
Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
