  1. Rub steak with oil and season with salt & pepper.
  2. Add oil to pan set over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steak for about 3 to 5 minutes per side.
  4. Transfer steak to baking sheet.
  5. Bake in preheated oven at 400°F on middle rack, about 10 to 15 minutes per pound.
  6. Remove when internal temperature reaches 135°F
