Popcorn Shrimp

A great appetizer that's sure to be a hit — tender bites of shrimp coated in seasoned flour and fried to crispy golden perfection.

    Mix flour, salt, paprika, pepper and garlic powder in a medium-sized bowl.

    Pat shrimp dry and place in a large bowl. Add 1/4 cup of the flour mixture and toss until all shrimp is coated.

    Heat about 3 inches of oil in a large deep pot at 375°F.

    In a small bowl, whisk egg and milk.

    Dip each piece of shrimp into the mixture then drench in remaining seasoned flour.

    Place 8-10 pieces of shrimp in the oil at a time. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove shrimp from oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat process with the remaining shrimp.

    Sprinkle with chopped parsley, serve and enjoy!
