Pre-marinated blackened scallops with smoked butter, ready for the oven, grill, or stovetop.

A Crowd Cow Field Guide

Use this guide for the best ways to thaw and cook our blackened & smoked butter scallops. Pre-marinated and delicious, they cook well in the oven, on the grill, or on the stovetop.

Thawing

Place the sealed package in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Oven

Place the scallops and butter on a greased baking dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes at 400°F, spinning the dish halfway through for even cooking.

Grill

Melt the butter in a small pan. Oil the grill and cook the scallops over medium-high heat for 3–5 minutes. Flip and grill for another 3–5 minutes. Spoon the melted butter over the scallops.

Stovetop

Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Cook the scallops for 2–4 minutes, brushing with butter occasionally. Flip and cook for another 2–4 minutes.
